Karim is a cold, greedy man. Even the coming of the month of Ramadan doesn’t wake in him any thoughts of compassion. He has turned away from God. He loves his money, and nothing else.

Then he is visited by three angels. The first shows him his past, and the good man he once was, and how suffering and loss changed him. The second angel shows him where he has arrived in the present – alone and miserable, shunned by his community and abandoned by his great love Mariam. The third angel completes his education by showing him his future, in which he dies, with no one to mourn him. Does Karim change?

The Miracle of Ramadan is a story about a powerful moral transformation. In learning from the Quran, and reconnecting with love, Karim’s story shows how faith in God can redeem even the worst of sinners.

Stages of our Lives from Evolution to Devolution

This book is a look at our aspect of our lives as we are growing up, i.e. our childhood and the serenity of a family affairs where our innocence is abound, where familial settings bring us close to the 'love' that we desperately seek, within our selves and also without

As we move from one stage of life to another, we either mourn the loss of that innocence, of an innocence lost, because life hasn't been kind to us, of the wreckage of war within our souls and from the environment that forces us to evaluate the trust that we had in that love when we were growing up.

The book allows us to hold near and dear to our hearts what we saw in our past lives, of the innocence of life, of the trust in God, and how life's unravelling distracts us from the pristine innocence of the soul.

The book uses the metaphor of angels, angels of childhood that reveal to us our beauty, angels of our present state and angels that also show us of the eventual state: when we live our lives through the prism of the past, of the present and the future, it allows us to appreciate a perspective of innocence lost in the myriad of lifes trials and tribulations.

The book is about restoring hope in those moments, when we ware reminded through our journey in the past, the present and the future, that there are more important things in life, of those un-quantifiable aspects of life, of Love, Mercy, Compassion, Charitable Giving, in the mirror of lifes opulence that can distract us when not measured in the balance of those ethical and moral values.

We define ourselves when we become conduits of God's will, of being Kind of being Loving, of Giving when giving matters, of sacrificing when sacrifice is demanded from our soul, it is a movement away from the material to the spiritual and metaphysical where the material is used to ascend to stations of marifah: in service of Humanity.
